Paulding SORBA Mission

Paulding SORBA is a non-profit, membership organization formed to promote environmental awareness and family fitness through mountain biking, and other outdoor activities in the Paulding county area. Located in West Georgia, the organization seeks to help people obtain a greater understanding and appreciation of natural ecosystems, history and to have fun while mountain biking and enjoying other outdoor recreation in Paulding.

@ Mt. Tabor Mountain Bike Park

We will be hosting over 300 wonderful volunteers on April 17th at Mt. Tabor Park to finish the third loop. This is also a Disney "The Give A Day. Get A Disney Day." opportunity  and registration should be up and running by the end of February.

@ Austell Threadmill Mountain Bike Park

Paulding SORBA is sticking to it's mission of building (www.IMBA.com) GATEWAY model trails in as many area parks as possible. On February 27th we will be launching an assualt at our third park in Austell. We are expecting over 200 volunteers and we have 3+ miles waiting to be transformed. Scott Martin trail director for Paulding Sorba believes that the property could house at least 15 miles. This area needs to be lifted up since the floods of Sept 09 inflicted widespread devistation.
